A diverse performer, Judy Norton is not only an internationally recognized actress, (she spent 9 years on the Emmy award winning series THE WALTONS) she is also an incredibly gifted singer.
With a strong background in musical theatre she has performed songs ranging from Broadway to standards with an occasional foray into country. Audiences adore her personal touch as she charmingly weaves timeless music with anecdotes from her life in show biz.
"Down to earth"… "approachable"… "I had no idea she could sing like that!" are common remarks from old and new fans. Her talent and sincerity have delighted audiences from North America to Europe, Iceland to Malaysia.
Television viewers frequently recognize her from many of her guest appearances on such shows as STARGATE –SG1, ED, MILLENIUM, THE INSPECTORS, SO WEIRD, YOU… ME & THE KIDS, MENTORS, COLD SQUAD, HOLLYWOOD OFFRAMP, HIGHER GROUND, and her recurring role on BEGGARS & CHOOSERS.
On stage Judy has starred in numerous productions including HELLO DOLLY, SOUND OF MUSIC, CINDERELLA and ANNIE GET YOUR GUN.
For 8 years Judy was the co-artistic director for two theatres in Canada. During this time she collaborated as a writer and director on more than 40 shows. Since returning to California she has continued writing and directing
original musicals such as SWINGING WITH THE STARS, MAJESTY OF THE SILVER SCREEN and GET ME JOHN DENVER.
Judy brings this entire wealth of experience to her shows, always aiming to
send the audience away feeling lighter and happier than when they arrived.
